The Claire Singers is a Southend-on-Sea, Essex, choir that was formed in 1984 under the directorship of Clara Roberts LRAM.

Our repertoire covers a wide selection ranging from folk songs and Negro spirituals to sacred and modern arrangements. We have taken part in the Sainsbury's Choir of the Year on two occasions, competing with top choirs from all around the country. We have also achieved successes in local music festivals and have given many performances across Essex, Suffolk and Norfolk helping to raise thousands of pounds for a variety of charities.

The choir strive to achieve high standards and at the same time enjoy what they do.
